Our Mission - has always been to supply quality vehicles,
high standards of customer service and, ultimately, the best value
for money. But we never wanted to be cheapest - we know it doesn't
work. Cheapest inevitably means cutting corners and our clients, their
well-being and safety, along with our reputation are too valuable for
that.
Our Name - is now a byword for reliability and service
- so much so it has entered the language! You'll hear it used on television
and read it in the papers. Of course sometimes it's pronounced incorrectly
(with a 'd' sounding after the Fahren) and sometimes the spelling is
a bit wobbly (we've even seen it spelt "far and wide"!).
But of course FahrenWide (now ensconced firmly in English terminology)
comes from the German "Fahren" -
to travel or drive and "Wide" - well ... as in wide. Together
they have come to mean travelling locally or long distance in the best
possible way!

the travel industry and major corporations.
